Korte, Thompson, Young Win West KY Golf Showcase

McCracken County High School's Chase Korte shot a final round 73 Tuesday to win the high school division at the West Kentucky College Golf Showcase at Drake Creek Golf Course.

Korte finished at 220 (75-72-73) to win by 12 strokes over Paducah Tilghman's Owen Workman. Workman, the leader going into Tuesday's final round, shot an 87 and finished at 232.

Western Kentucky University's Nick Thompson shot a 208 (71-72-65) to win the men's college division by two strokes over Easton Lavell (70-67-73) of Freed Hardeman.

SIU's Kirsti Young shot a 224 (75-75-74) to win the women's college division by two strokes over Murray State's Anna Moore. Moore shot a final round 80 to finish at 226.
