Positions in game operations, guest services, parking, security, ticketing, and video are being hired. These part-time positions offer a competitive wage and flexible hours.
"Our event staff play a crucial role in the operations of athletic contests and special events," said Brock Rydecki, Assistant AD for Facility and Game Day Management "These roles are very important as they are the front line faces of our department and are vital in our plan to promote a first-class game day experience for all in attendance."
Here is a quick look at the positions that are available for the 2020-21 school year.
Guest Services: Guest Services members are the face of the department and provide support in ADA assistance, Ushers, Stadium entry/checks, wayfinding, Kidz Zone, and other duties related to our guests experience.
Operations: The behind the scenes people! These positions run scoreboard/clock operations, chain gang, instant replay, setup/tear down, and event management.
Parking: Parking staff team is responsible for the ingress and egress of vehicles into reserved parking spaces, ADA spaces, and assisting with proper traffic flow for events.
Security: The security team plays an important role in player and fan safety by assisting with credential checkpoints, access control, escorting of guests, and other duties depending on the event.
Ticket Staff: The ticket staff team is on the frontline at the point of entry and assistance with guests in the selling, scanning, and taking of tickets. Ticket staff also aid in bag checks and wayfinding for guests upon entry.
Video Production: Each MSU football and basketball game is streamed live on ESPN+ and in-game video boards. We need people who can run a camera and perhaps fill one of the spots on the video production team.
