For the second time in as many weeks, Murray State redshirt sophomore quarterback KD Humphries has been named as the adidas® OVC Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Sunday afternoon.

Humphries was 21-for-36 for 297 yards in Murray State's 44-41 double overtime upset of 23rd-ranked Southeast Missouri. He had just one interception on the night, while connecting on a career-high six touchdown passes.

The Montgomery, Alabama native had long passes of 49 and 75 yards in the game, both of which were touchdowns. He also engineered two crucial drives that ended with touchdown passes, the first being the game-tying drive with 46 seconds left in regulation and the second, the game-winner in the second overtime. Over the two overtime periods, Humphries went 3-for-5 for 36 yards with a long of 22 and a touchdown.

On Saturday, Humphries and the rest of the Racers will look to keep their momentum alive when they travel to Austin Peay in search of their first road win of the season. Kick-off at Governors stadium is scheduled for 6 p.m.
