Dixon has been a member of the Lady Bomber staff for the past two years as junior varsity coach and a varsity assistant coach. Prior to that, he was assistant head coach at Hickman County High School for two years. He has worked in the Lady Bombers’ system for six years at various levels.
While managing his passion for the game, Dixon also has developed a successful law practice in Paducah.
“Daryl consistently has shown an interest in and passion for the students of Ballard Memorial High School,” said Ballard Athletic Director Dustin Roberts.
Dixon originally applied for the position two years ago, when Billie Prince was hired, Roberts said.
“He has continued to show his commitment to our students by serving as Coach Prince’s assistant. The time and effort that Daryl has put into this program from the little league up to the varsity level has shown that he has the desire to continue the winning tradition of Lady Bomber Basketball,” Roberts added.
