Marshall County's girls finished with a two-day total of 674 to finish third at the Leachman Buick-GMC-Cadillac State Golf Championships at Bowling Country Club. The Lady Marshals followed up Tuesday's round of 340 with a 334 on Wednesday.

Savannah Howell led the way for the Lady Marshals with a score of 156 (82-74). She finished tied for 8th in the individual competition. Teammate Megan Hertter (79-78=157) tied for 12th.

Lexington Christian (313-319=632) won the team title by 42 strokes over South Warren (333-327=660).

Boyd County’s Olivia Hensley won the individual title, finishing with a 142 (69-73). Laney Frye of Madison Central finished second with a 149 (69-80).

McCracken County’s Jessica Stephens (77-76=153) finished fourth. Lyon County’s Cathryn Brown (81-76=157) tied for 12th. Murray’s Mary Browder Howell (80-82=162) tied for 24th.

Graves County's Ellie West (79-84=164) finished 27th. Lauren Gilchrist of Crittenden County (83-82=165) tied for 32nd, and St. Mary’s Margaret Butts (83-88=171) tied for 54th.
