Here are first round high school football playoff results from across western Kentucky:

Class 6A  McCracken County  46   Central Hardin  7 
The Mustangs used two quarterbacks in the lopsided win. Maddox O'Neal was 8-for-13 for 127 yards and a touchdown; Cole Presswood was also 8-for-13 for 101 yards and 3 TDs. Jude Lanier caught 4 passes for 106 yards and two touchdowns; Jakari Matchem, Brently Gregory and Reed Brookshire also caught TD passes. Landon Newman rushed for 106 yards and two TDs. Next Friday, McCracken is home for a rematch with Henderson County, who the Mustangs defeated 55-42 just two weeks ago.

Class 4A  Paducah Tilghman  28   Taylor County  0
The Tornado racked up more than 500 yards total offense, led by DJ Wilson's 149 yards rushing with a touchdown. Chance McPike added a TD on a 91-yard run. QB Stone Crowe hit Cam Wade for a 23-yard TD strike for the only first half score, then Avery Thompson directed three second-half scoring drives to seal the win, including his own 1-yard TD run on a fumble recovery. Tilghman's defense allowed just 71 yards in the shutout. The Tornado host Franklin-Simpson next Friday in round two.
