Eddyville Founders Day events coming in September

Preparations are being made for Eddyville Founders Day events coming in September.

Eddyville's community yard sale will take place on Saturday, Sept. 13 in City Park from 7am til 2pm. You can also add your address to a list of other participating yard sales across the city.

The Founder's Day car show will take place Friday evening, Sept. 19 from 4-8 in front of the courthouse. All vehicles are welcome. A $10 entry fee benefits the city's scholarship fund.

The 61st Founders Day is Saturday, Sept. 20. You can be a vendor at Arts & Crafts in the Park by signing up at city hall.

Other traditional events that day have included a parade, live music, food trucks, kids activities, inflatables, a pancake breakfast, pet show and bingo.
