Paducah's 'Battle of the Badges' charity basketball game Jan. 11

Paducah's police and fire departments will once again take to the court in January for their Battle of the Badges charity basketball game to raise donations for the Family Service Society.

Local charity organizations exhaust much of their resources over the holidays to help families, and are severely depleted at the start of the next year. That's why the fire and police squads have chosen January for an event to help the Family Service Society jumpstart donations and replenish resources. 

The game will be held on Sunday, January 11 at 3 p.m. in the Paducah Tilghman gym. Admission is free with the donation of a non-perishable food item.
