Almo woman arrested on assault charges

An Almo woman was arrested on assault charges early Sunday morning.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said around 1 am they were called to assist Murray Calloway County EMS at a residence on 3rd Street in Almo.  Investigators said the suspect, 28-year-old Justice Eyers, assaulted them.

Eyers was charged with assault and lodged in the Calloway County Detention Center.
