Almo woman injured after motorcycle hits deer in Lyon County

An Almo woman was injured after colliding with a deer while riding a motorcycle last week.

Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies said that 56-year-old Leslie Combs Waide of Almo was riding a motorcycle along US 62 in Kuttawa. Waide was traveling westbound when the collision with the deer occurred.

Waide’s motorcycle was the only vehicle involved.

Waide was taken to Baptist Health Paducah to be treated for her injuries.
