Barkley Airport survey shows 'strong support' for potential beach flights

The management of Barkley Regional Airport says that the results of their latest online survey shows strong support for potential nonstop service to Florida or another beach destination.

They posted on Tuesday that nearly 7,500 surveys were returned since it was published in July.

Now, airport leadership says they will be reviewing the results to evaluate potential destinations, explore funding opportunities, and prepare to reach out to prospective airlines.

While they emphasize that no new routes are currently confirmed, every step brings them closer to what may be possible.
