A traffic stop just after 9:30 Monday night in Marshall County led to a Hardin man being cited on drug and traffic offenses.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says deputies made a traffic stop on US 68 East, near Capp Springs Road, for traffic violations.

Their investigation found the operator, 55-year-old John L. Garnett, allegedly was in possession of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana.

Garnett was out on bond for multiple firearm and narcotic related cases out of Calloway and Marshall counties.

Garnett was cited and released due to unrelated medical concerns.
