Benton man injured in Christian County traffic accident

A Benton man was treated following a Tuesday afternoon traffic accident in Christian County.

WKDZ reported the Christian County Sheriff's Office as saying the mishap was reported around 12:10 pm on Cadiz Road at the intersection of Lester Road near Gracey.

Investigators said 45-year-old Christopher Kaplan was travelling westbound when he lost control of his vehicle, ran off the road several times and overturned into the median.

It was also noted a medical issue likely caused the crash.
