Wednesday will have a couple of chances for stronger storms and even severe weather for parts of our region.
The first chance is during the predawn hours, and mainly for southeast Missouri. A few damaging wind gusts will weaken quickly as they move toward southern Illinois and western Kentucky.
Wednesday's high could still reach 91 before a more substantial threat for severe storm redevelops Wednesday afternoon and evening from 4pm til 11pm. A slight risk (level 2 out of 5) of severe weather could mainly include damaging winds, but large hail and a tornado or two are also possible.
The chance for showers and thunderstorms will linger into Thursday morning, clearing later in the day with a high of 87.
