A lawsuit was recently filed in Trigg County on allegations that occurred on a Trigg County school bus near the end of school last spring.
The lawsuit was filed by the grandmother of a six year old boy who claims a 12-year-old girl put her hands down his pants the afternoon of May 18th.
WKDZ reported Tuesday Cadiz Police viewed video surveillance of the bus indicated the boy sat down in the first seat behind the bus driver.
The video then showed the 12 year old girl sitting beside him with an instrument case and allegedly blocking the aisle.
The video also showed instances of grabbing, hugging, holding on the lap, and a “general force of control." by the 12 year old. Cadiz Police also noted the 12 year old patted the buttocks of the six year old and attempts to put his hands and fingers down the back of her shorts.
The 12 year old was also seen talking to the six year old in close proximity to him in a low voice and it was also noted the six year old frequently changed posture to avoid touching.
The 12 year old was charged with sexual abuse and attempted sodomy and expelled for the final three days of school last spring.
The lawsuit was filed against Trigg County Superintendent Dr. Rex Booth, Director of Transportation Scott Schrock and the bus driver Holly Schafer.
Replies to the suit filed by Byrant Law of Paducah have yet to come from the defendants.
