Calloway County High School principal Bobby Love announced his resignation Tuesday, just months after he took the job in July.
According to an email sent to Calloway County High parents and guardians on Wednesday, Superintendent Tres Settle said Love resigned for "personal reasons." Settle said the search would begin quickly for Love's replacement. In the meantime, Patrick Kenney and Lynsey Smith will share co-principal duties.
Love took over as Calloway County principal July 1st after the retirement of Steve Smith. Love was Calloway County High assistant principal for three years prior and before coming to Calloway County, he was the principal at Livingston County Middle School for four years.
