Oklahoma man arrested in Murray drug bust

An Oklahoma man was arrested during a narcotics investigation in Murray on Monday.

Detectives with the Calloway County Sheriff’s Office searched a residence on Spruce Street as part of an ongoing investigation.

During the search, investigators seized nearly 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, a half ounce of cocaine, and $3,300 in cash suspected to be proceeds from illegal drug activity.

They arrested 31-year-old Milique D. Simmons of Oklahoma City. He's charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
