A Calloway County man has been arrested after allegedly stealing a truck and breaking into an elementary school.

Calloway County Sheriff’s deputies said that on April 29th, 43-year-old Steven Price reportedly stole a truck from a location on Crossland Road. Then, Price is said to have gone to an elementary school in Calloway County and broken in. Price is accused of using a backpack and a large trash bag to conceal and remove items from the school.

Price reportedly fled to Henry County, Tennessee, and stole a boat at Cypress Bay. That is where the truck was recovered. As a result, Price is facing additional charges in Tennessee.

Calloway deputies served the arrest warrant on Price on Monday and charged him with burglary, theft by unlawful taking, and theft by unlawful taking of a vehicle.
