Candlelight vigil scheduled to honor woman killed Saturday morning in Paducah

A candlelight vigil is scheduled to honor the life of a woman killed in a Saturday morning shooting in Paducah.

The event will take place on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Wilson stage at the foot of Broadway. Organizers have been working on a way to honor the life of Stephanie Stacey. Stacey was killed in a shooting early Saturday morning while at work. A number of establishments have indicated they will close early on Wednesday so members of the service industry can honor Stacey.

A GoFundMe account has been set up to benefit her children. Organizers indicated there would be other events to raise funds for the children and their needs.
