A Murray insurance agent arrested last week has an extensive record of debt disputes.
59-year-old Glen David Ramey of Murray was arrested at his agency last week by the Graves County Sheriff's Office. Ramey is accused of accepting thousands of dollars in payments from a Graves County church without keeping its insurance in force.
Meanwhile, The Murray Sentinel reported Friday a review of court filings traces debt-related disputes in Calloway County spanning nearly three decades.
Since 1997, Ramey has been named in six debt-related cases in Calloway County courts, including a small claims case, a district court collection action and several circuit court matters.
Ramey will appear in Graves District Court for arraignment on April 29th at 9 am.
