Crash in southern McCracken County sends one to the hospital

A crash in southern McCracken County sent one person to the hospital.

The crash happened just before 4 p.m. near Krebs Station and Old Mayfield Road. McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies said that 29-year-old Laken Fakhoorian of Fancy Farm was headed west on Krebs Station in her SUV when she collided with a pickup driven by 39-year-old Ashley Edwards of Symsonia.

Fakhoorian was taken to the hospital with what were described as non-incapacitating injuries. It took about an hour to clear the scene.
