Crews battle house fire in Graves County

Fire crews battled a house fire on Friday night in southwestern Graves County.

The Water Valley Fire Department was first on scene to the fire located in the 1300 block of Taylor Road. 

Assistance was requested from the Sedalia and Cuba Fire Departments. Sheriffs deputies also on scene to assist. 

The occupants were reported to be out of the home and Red Cross was being notified. The cause of the fire was not specified.
