Dawson Springs man arrested on drug and firearm charges

A Dawson Springs man was arrested last Friday after drugs and a firearm were discovered at a residence on Charleston Road.

WPKY reported 67-year-old Randall Wyatt had an active warrant and was on probation.  The Hopkins County Sheriff's Office found a shotgun close to Wyatt when they went to serve the warrant. 

In addition, they discovered suspected marijuana, meth, glass smoking devices with residue, and a grinder.

Wyatt was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.   

He was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
