Lane restrictions on I-24 are planned this week in Livingston and Lyon Counties as crews clear vegetation along guardrails.
According to The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the restrictions are planned Monday through Friday this week.
The work zone will be from the Tennessee River Bridge near Exit 31 at Grand Rivers to Exit 45 at Eddyville. Both eastbound and westbound lanes will be affected, with the eastbound side being worked on first.
KYTC says entrance and exit ramps could temporarily be blocked, and they urge motorists to slow down and use caution in the work zone.
