Extended closure underway on Beechy Road in Calloway County

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has closed a section of Beechy Road/CR 1183, south of New Concord, in Calloway County. 

The closure, between Grubbs Road and Winchester Road, is necessary for bridge superstructure repairs, which are expected to take about two months to complete.

This bridge repair project was included in the state's six-year highway plan and represents an investment of $258,000.
