Florida man arrested on warrants and drug charges in Lyon County

A Florida man was arrested Thursday night on warrants and drug charges after authorities were notified of a suspcious vehicle in Lyon County.

The Lyon County Sheriff's Office was called to the report of the suspicious vehicle on Poplar Creek Road.  The man was identified as 52-year-old Thomas Drake of Arcadja, FL.  The investigation revealed Drake was wanted on warrants concerning a theft in Hopkins County. 

He was also charged with driving on a suspended license, no insurance and without the proper registration plate.

In addition, deputies found methamphetamine and a smoking pipe.  Drake was taken to the Crittenden County Detention Center.
