Hardin man arrested after being found passed out at gas station

A Hardin man has been arrested after he was reportedly found passed out at a gas station.

Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies said that 42-year-old Shane Thompson of Hardin was passed out inside his vehicle at a local gas station. Deputies are said to have determined that Thompson was under the influence, and a search uncovered a syringe in his pocket that allegedly contained methamphetamine.

Thompson was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of substances and possession of meth.
