Hayden wins Republican nomination to be Graves County Judge-Executive

Todd Hayden has won the Republican nomination for Graves County Judge-Executive.

Hayden, the current Commissioner from District 3, defeated Dale Usher by just 114 votes. The race was divided between those two. The third challenger in the race, Cody Jones, got just 4% of the vote.

In other contested races in Graves County, John Cunnigham wins the Republican nomination in his bid to remain Graves County Attorney. Cunningham collected 88% of the vote, beating John J. Beasley II. Kelli Krill Elliott won the Republican nomination, defeating the incumbent George Workman by a large 44% margin. In the County Commission races, Bubba Winfrey won the nomination in the 1st District, Incumbent Tyler Goodman got the nod in the 2nd, and in the closest race of the three, Al Chandler beat Michael Dale Harris in the 3rd by less than 300 votes.
