Interstate 169 crash involving tractor trailer sends one to Nashville hospital

A Sunday night traffic accident along Interstate 169 in Christian County sends an unidentified man to a Nashville hospital.

WKDZ reported Kentucky State Police said the accident occured just before 7 pm.  

Investigators said a car was stopped on the side of the road near the 25 mile marker because of a problem with a battery when the driver was struck by a northbound tractor trailer.

The crash forced both vehicles off the road.  The car's driver was flown to a Nashville hospital.
