Joint Sewer Agency awarded $509,000 from Delta Regional Authority

The Paducah-McCracken Joint Sewer Agency was awarded $509,000 from the Delta Regional Authority for a pump station project.

The award is one of four Kentucky projects totaling $1.6 million funded by the Delta Regional Authority, as part of its State's Economic Assistance Program.

Earlier this week, the DRA awarded $3.1 million to 12 projects in southern Illinois; $5.5 million in Arkansas; and $3.7 million in Alabama.

For 25 years, the Delta Regional Authority has been a joint federal and state collaboration to encourage economic development by improving infrastructure and business development in economically distressed communities among 8 states in the lower Mississippi Valley.
