Kevil woman dies of injuries sustained in recent traffic accident

A Kevil woman has succumbed to injuries sustained in a recent traffic accident.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday that 26-year-old Tawnya Scott died last Friday at an out-of-state hospital. 

The accident occurred the morning of January 12th on New Liberty Church Road.

Investigators said Scott was ejected from her vehicle after it left the roadway and rolled several times.

She was first treated at a local hospital, then taken to the out-of-state hospital..
