Man arrested in Calloway County strangulation incident

A man was arrested early Sunday morning following a strangulation incident in Calloway County.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to a home on Jones Road in reference to a physical altercation.

Allegedly 54-year-old Roger Thomas placed his hands on another person, intentionally impeding their airway.

Thomas was taken to the Calloway County Detention Center on charges of strangulation and terroristic threatening.

The victim reportedly did not require medical attention.
