Marginal risk of more strong storms today, higher Thursday

Multiple rounds of scattered thunderstorms will continue today through Thursday.

Marginal chances for severe weather are forecast today (level 1 out of 5). The bulk of storm activity should stay north of our region, but a few local strong storms cannot be ruled out. Damaging winds and large hail would be the primary concerns. 

A slight risk (level 2 out of 5) will return on Thursday, mainly afternoon and evening. Scattered storms could become strong, and a few could include damaging winds, small hail and a small risk of a tornado.

Dry and cooler conditions will return for the weekend, with a warming trend into early next week.
