A Vine Grove man is behind bars accused of trafficking illegal drugs through Marshall County.

Marshall County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle driven by 36-year-old Jasmin Veljacic of Vine Grove along I-69 on Monday. Deputies determined that Veljacic was under the influence at the time. A search of the vehicle also reportedly turned up fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other drugs. 

Veljacic was arrested and charged with trafficking in fentanyl, methamphetamine, and a legend drug. He also faces charges of operating a motor vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance, driving on a DUI-suspended license, wanton endangerment, tampering with physical evidence, and no insurance.
