Mayfield man arrested on charges of selling meth

A Mayfield man was arrested Thursday on charges of selling methamphetamine.

The Graves County Sheriff's Office said an undercover drug investigation led to two purchases of meth from 60-year-old Earnest J. Prince of West Lockridge Street in Mayfield during October.

Prince was selling crystal meth from a residence in the 700 block of West Lockridge Street near Northside Christian School.

On Thursday, sheriff's detectives went to his residence at about 3PM, located and placed him under arrest.

A search warrant was also obtained, and the residence was searched. Items related to the investigation were located.

The investigation is continuing.
