Mayfield man charged after alleged sexual contact with a minor

A Mayfield man was charged on Saturday after alleged sexual contact with a minor.

Mayfield Police have arrested a man following an investigation into the allegations. Investigators believe 37-year-old Kalpesh Patel of Mayfield had sexual contact with a minor under the age of 16. Patel was charged with first-degree sexual abuse in the case.

Patel was booked into the Christian County Jail.
