The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office has made two additional arrests stemming from an ongoing investigation into a parcel containing more than two pounds of suspected methamphetamine that was seized on August 5.

Detectives determined that the parcel had been sent to the Monroe Street residence of 57-year-old Tracy Moore in Paducah. On August 5, detectives executed a search warrant at Moore’s apartment, where they said they located meth and evidence linking Moore to the parcel that had been previously seized by detectives.

As the investigation continued, detectives determined that 34-year-old Crystal Ingram of Metropolis had arranged for the drug parcel to be delivered to Moore’s residence for 32-year-old James Knight of California.

Based on information developed during the investigation, Moore was arrested on August 13. Ingram turned herself into the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday. Both were charged with complicity to traffic in a controlled substance.

Additional arrests charges are possible.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office was assisted in the investigation by the Paducah Police Department, the United States Postal Inspection Service, and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
