Murray man arrested on assault charges

A reported altercation Friday night resulted in the arrest of a Murray man on assault charges.

According to the Calloway County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a home on Radio Road at approximately 9:30 pm.

Their investigation determined that 30-year-old Lonnie Paschall had assaulted another individual.

As deputies took Paschall into custody, he allegedly assaulted one deputy and attempted to assault a second one.

Paschall was arrested and taken to the Calloway County Detention Facility. There were no reported injuries that required medical treatment.
