Murray man charged with possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material

A Murray man has been arrested and charged with the possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material.

An undercover investigation by the Electronic Crime Branch of the Kentucky State Police reportedly identified 25-year-old Aiden Luke Santos of Murray as having shared child sexual exploitation images online. Investigators got a search warrant for Santos’ residence in Murray and executed it just after 6:15 p.m. Thursday night. Troopers took equipment they believe could have been used to distribute the material and will examine it at the KSP forensic lab.

Santos was arrested and charged with distribution of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under twelve and possession of matter portraying a minor in a sexual performance under twelve.  He was booked into the Calloway County Detention Center.
