A Nashville woman was arrested on a variety of charges following a Tuesday night traffic stop in Trigg County.

The Trigg County Sheriff's Office told WKDZ deputies were called to the 58-mile marker around 10:15 pm after receiving reports of a reckless driver driving at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle was observed driving near the Cadiz exit and crossing the center line several times.

The driver was identified as 24-year-old Abreshia Lackey of Nashville.  Investigators said they detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle while speaking with Lackey.

Investigators also determined her driver’s license was suspended and she did not have proof of insurance because the vehicle was not hers.

While Lackey was taken into custody, investigators said she removed a bag of marijuana from her pants before a search of the vehicle uncovered a digital scale and marijuana smoking paraphernalia.

Deputies also found a black backpack containing a blue storage bag and a gray storage bag, which reportedly held approximately eight ounces of suspected methamphetamine.

Trigg County Sheriff's Aaron Acree said it was one of the largest meth seizures in a traffic stop by his agency.
