Gov. Andy Bashear reported that there were 74 confirmed dead from Friday's tornado outbreak on Monday afternoon.

He said there was one new death in Graves County, four in Hopkins, three in Warren and one in Franklin.

He also said that there are 109 Kentuckians reported as unaccounted for but expects that number to rise.

The Department for Aging and Independent Living reported that the Graves County Senior Center and Western Kentucky Allied Services Building had been damaged so extensively that there is no way for them to prepare meals. They said within 20 minutes, over 2,300 shelf-stable meals had been committed and will be transferred from senior centers in Breckenridge, Nelson and Fayette counties to 300 homebound seniors in Graves County.

Kentucky State Police are still requesting all Mayfield Consumer Products candle factory employees go to his House Ministries Church at 1250 KY-303 in Mayfield, so they can verify that all potential victims are accounted for. Additionally, MCP employees may call the employee support line at 888-880-8620 for transportation.

The governor reiterated that those wanting to donate material items like food or supplies in the Mayfield-Graves County area call Emergency Management at 270-727-5114 and volunteer signup at this website.

He also reported that the Paducah Police Department has volunteered to accept outside donations, which can be dropped off at the Police Station at 1400 Broadway in Paducah.
