Overturned semi blocking I-24 in Marshall County

I-24 is blocked this morning in Marshall County by an overturned semi.

The accident occurred in the eastbound lanes near the Tennessee River bridge around mile marker 30 between the Calvert City and Grand Rivers exits.

Eastbound traffic is being rerouted off of I-24 at Exit 27, following US 62 to KY 453 and rejoin I-24 at Exit 31. Or US 62 traffic can continue to the Kuttawa exit at I-24.

There's no estimated time for I-24 to be back open at the crash site.
