Paducah woman killed in three-vehicle crash on John Puryear Drive

A three-vehicle crash on Sunday afternoon at John Puryear Drive and Husband Road claimed the life of a Paducah woman.

The crash occurred just before 12:30 Sunday off I-24 exit 11. McCracken County Sheriff's deputies determined that a car and a pickup collided in the intersection. Then a secondary collision occurred when an SUV hit the car.

The car's driver, 86-year-old Wanda Hankins of Paducah, was taken to a local hospital. Hankins succumbed to the injuries she suffered in the crash. 

The drivers of the other vehicles were not injured.
