Pair from Metropolis arrested on drug warrants from McCracken County

Two people from Metropolis were arrested in separate incidents on drug warrants out of McCracken County. 

Metropolis Police found 21-year-old Peyton R. Norwood at an apartment on 8th Street that is said to belong to his girlfriend. Norwood is accused in McCracken County of trafficking in fentanyl in addition to bail jumping. 

Then, officers located 44-year-old Buffy J. Parker of Metropolis at a home on 7th Street. She was also wanted on warrants from McCracken County. Parker was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

Norwood and Parker were both booked into the Massac County Detention  Center.
