A Princeton man arrested after a police pursuit from Princeton to Dawson Springs in September has been indicted by a Caldwell County grand jury.

WPKY reports a true bill was returned on Demetrius Hollowell on charges including fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment, trafficking in a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, driving under the influence, and several vehicle-related offenses.

The charges stem from September 1, 2026, when Princeton Police reported officers tried to stop a vehicle driven by Hollowell on North Donnivan Street, after determining he did not have a valid operator’s license.

Police said Hollowell refused to stop and allegedly attempted to strike an officer as he fled.

According to police, the pursuit continued through the north side of Princeton, before eventually ending in Dawson Springs.

Officers said Hollowell was found to be in possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and an open container of alcohol. He was taken to the Caldwell County jail.
