Raises approved for Princeton City Council members beginning next year

During its regular meeting earlier this week, pay raises beginning in 2027 were approved for members of Princeton's City Council.

WPKY reported the pay will be $5,400 per year or $450 per month.  It was previously reported the pay incease will be the first for council members in decades.

The council had previously voted to give the mayor a pay increase but went through a couple of revisions for council members.
