Report of reckless driver turned into an arrest in Caldwell County

A report of a reckless driver along I-69 in Caldwell County landed a man in jail.

Caldwell County Sheriff’s deputies were called Sunday about the vehicle as it travelled along the interstate. A deputy stopped the vehicle and is said to have found 24-year-old Matthew Turner of Providence to be under the influence of a controlled substance. Drug paraphernalia was also reportedlu located in the vehicle.

Turner was arrested and taken to the Caldwell County Jail.
