Paul Rister, the 4th District Magistrate, has beaten the incumbent Judge Kenny Imes in Calloway County.

Rister won the Republican nomination by 22 percentage points and a vote margin of nearly 700 votes on Tuesday.

In other contested races in Calloway County, Brad Rowland collected the Republican nomination for Jailer over Mark McCuiston and Shane Henley. Incumbent 2nd District Magistrate Larry Crutcher claims the nomination once again. However, in the 3rd Magisterial District, Cole Houston beat another incumbent, Don Cherry.
