Roadwork along I-24 in Lyon County begins today

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans a work zone lane restriction along Interstate 24 in Lyon County starting today.

The Lyon County highway maintenance crew will be doing some drainage work along the shoulder behind guardrail between the weigh station and the US 62 Eddyville-Kuttawa Exit 40 interchange.

The eastbound I-24 work zone will cause traffic to merge briefly. The restriction will be in place around the clock y through Friday.
