Rumble strips being added to Old Cairo Road

Rumble strips are being added to a section of Old Cairo Road in McCracken County this week.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet said that the mobile work zone would move along about a five-mile stretch of Old Cairo Road from US 60 in West Paducah all the way in to Coleman Road. Edge strips will be installed this week. New permanent striping will be added in the next few weeks.

Engineers said the whole paving project on Old Cairo Road should be completed by June 30th.
